BITUBO HZM11 SHOCK ABSORBER YAMAHA T-MAX 2000-2007
The evolution of the mono HZT dedicated to the T-MAX 500 is the new HZM, with a separate compensation chamber with external adjustment, connected with a flex tube for very high pressures.
THE TARGET
The effort of the R&D department was aimed at satisfying the requests of sports enthusiasts of the T-MAX 500 who asked for the adjustment of the hydraulics at hand, with the compensation tank separate from the shock absorber body.
INNOVATION
As everyone knows, this suspension works by traction, and an external support is needed to "reverse" the work of the spring. This is achieved by means of an innovative external cage "bell", which allows the moving parts to be glimpsed, and which reduces the overall weight by 12%. Fully revisable, to keep it always at maximum efficiency, it offers the following adjustments:
- Variable wheelbase (6 mm range)
- Spring preload (continuously variable)
- Compression (24 clicks)
- Extension (24 clicks)
TECHNICAL FEATURES:
Pressurized shock absorber with external compensation chamber, steel body, 14 mm diameter stem. Linear rigidity spring. The aesthetic impact is very "aggressive", with contrasting color finishes: the main body is painted in Matt Black (matt black), with steel attachment heads, while the compensation tank has the characteristic anodization of the racing products of the XXF series . BITUBO dedicates this product to demanding sports "Tuning" enthusiasts, dissatisfied with both the yield and the impossibility of customizing the set-up (due to lack of adjustments) of the original product.
