Battery charging
It is always recommended to charge the battery before use.
Charge the battery with a maximum charge current equal to one tenth of the battery amps (example: a 10 Ah battery must be charged with a value of 1 Ah) and keep the battery charged for at least 8/10 hours.
If the electrolyte level has dropped after charging, the battery must be refilled with distilled water to the upper level.
At the end of the recharge close the caps, remove any acid residue with water, then dry the battery.
This type of battery after it has been charged must be sealed with the special clamp and from that moment on it no longer needs to add distilled water.
It is extremely important to check at least once a month that the battery voltage is always higher than 12V.
In the event that the voltage does not exceed 12V, it is necessary to have the vehicle's electrical apparatus checked as the voltage regulator may not be calibrated with optimal values to keep the battery charge within the optimal standards for correct recharging.
Also in this case, if the battery voltage is lower than 12V, the sulphation of the plates starts.
