BITUBO XXZ31 SHOCK ABSORBER SUZUKI GSX-R 1000 2004
Racing Bitubo shock absorber made with aluminum body to favor the reduction of the overall weight, always an important parameter for the best response of the bike to the orders of the rider.
The innovation inside, with unprecedented technical solutions to improve the damping coefficient and increase stability at high temperatures. The stem diam. 14 mm increases smoothness while the piston diam. 30 mm reduces the masses of fluid in motion for a faster response to stress.
All improvements aimed at obtaining the reduction of inertias, and therefore an immediate control of the oscillations of the suspension. Particular attention was paid to increasing the sensitivity and precision of the adjustments, now located in the upper head.
Technical features:
Adjustable wheelbase: Particular attention paid to the lower attachment to eliminate weight from this product where the wheelbase adjustment is located. Adjustment range up to 8 mm allows you to customize the set-up of the bike.
Compact hydraulic preload: Compactness and lightness are the characteristics of the new hydraulic preload.
Objective: to provide the rider with a driving precision and an increase in grip never seen before and a uniform wear of the rubber thanks to the instantaneous control of the forces at play. This gives the rider maximum support when cornering even at extreme lean angles and perfect stability even in the most extreme braking sections.
Adjustments:
- Hydraulic spring preload
- Double extension
- Double compression
- Adjustment range: -0 +8
NOTE: Upon request when ordering, it is possible to provide certification for use in the territory of Switzerland.
Questions
Dear Team Motomania,
congratulations to your best price for BITUBO S0054XXT11 and S0054XXZ31. 'm still undecided whether to go with or without hydraulic spring adjustment. But I have 2 questions:
1. on my Suzuki GSX-R 1000 from 2003 there is a upside mounting point for a Fork. On every pictures I found only an Eye for the upside side. Came both types with a compatible mounting point upside?
2. Can I choose the spring rate, or what spring comes with the strut?
Thank you

In any case, the shock absorber is specific to the motorcycle model indicated (in this case, Suzuki GSX-R 1000 2003->2004).
The shock absorber is supplied with a spring specific to the rider's weight and type of use (touring, road, mixed road/track, amateur track, racing). This information must be included in the "Notes" field of the order.
