Lithium LiFePO4 batteries: ecological, powerful, compact and very light
Until now, batteries have always been made with lead-acid technology, so lithium represents a decisive turning point in the world of batteries.
Among the main advantages of the new lithium batteries (LiFePO4) there are certainly the dimensions, reduced by about 30% compared to traditional batteries, and the weight, reduced on average by 50%.
The starting power is about four times higher than lead-acid batteries. This advantage translates into the possibility of delivering strong ignition currents thus allowing safe starting even at low winter temperatures and with large-volume twin-cylinder engines (Ducati, BMW, etc.) that require high starting current values.
The absence of lead, acid and other heavy metals makes the Skyrich battery non-polluting, non-explosive and non-flammable. It is therefore ideal for traveling with clean energy and in maximum safety.
A further important advantage is given by the very short recharge time: 6 minutes are enough for a 90% recharge.
The duration of the battery life cycle is estimated at around 2000 cycles, compared to 150/300 for a standard quality battery, while the maintenance charge is around 1 year, compared to 6 months for traditional batteries.
New version with tester for checking the charge level (see second photo).

ATTENTION: Lithium batteries need to be charged and maintained with voltages and charge cycles different from traditional acid or gel batteries. For this reason, it is essential to use a specific charger / maintainer for lithium-ion batteries. The chargers we recommend can be found listed in the Related section at the bottom of this page.
