The PAIR system on modern road bikes injects fresh air upstream of the exhaust, minimizing the amount of unburned fuel that arrives in the atmosphere.
This is the reason why the burst often occurs during deceleration, since the unburnt gas detonates in the final part of the exhaust.
If you disconnect the PAIR valve, the FI light turns on immediately (which could mask some serious motorcycle related faults).
To get rid of the popping the PS Eliminator is the necessary tool.

Buongiorno: ho una z900 se 2023 ho cambiato solo il terminale di scarico originale con l’scproject s1 gp e con il rilascio del gas la moto scoppietta un po’ volevo sapere con il ps Eliminetor visto sul vostro sito posso risolvere il problema senza recare danni alla moto? Buongiorno Antonello,
l'esclusore PS Eliminator NON interviene sui parametri di iniezione e non risolve i problemi di scoppiettii, normalmente causati da uno smagrimento nel rapporto aria/carburante.
A questo scopo è necessario installare una centralina aggiuntiva di iniezione (Rapid Bike Evo):
