The Sprint Filter filters represent an innovation in motorcycle air filters, with cutting-edge technical characteristics and performance.
They are practically maintenance-free filters: the filter is cleaned using a simple blast of compressed air and does not require washing the filter. Even relubrication of the filter, typical of cotton filters, is not required.
The P08 series, typically used for road and sports use, ensures a high air passage (5,000 liters per square meter per second) and a high filtering power (retains 93% of 100 micron particles, compared to 76 % of cotton filters).
The Sprint Filter P08 filters (replacement of the originals) are made up of a single-layer polyester filter fabric, inserted between two reticulated aluminum structures which, treated with epoxy resin, are resistant to oxidation caused by fuel vapors and 'air humidity.
Sprint Filter polyester fabrics are extremely permeable, stable and do not wrinkle during construction. Cotton or sponge air filters, on the other hand, have a texture that depends on the overlapping of numerous layers, resulting in poor flow in some areas and ineffective filtration in others.
The manufacturing precision of Sprint Filter polyester air filters offers equal filtration that remains constant over time. In contrast, a cotton air filter has extremely variable openings.
The Sprint Filter polyester air filter guarantees a very high air flow that neither cotton filters nor OEM paper filters can achieve. Having a greater air flow allows you to release higher power.
